End of Soccer Season Party

The fall soccer season came to an end in October for Kitana. She was loving it at the beginning, but got completely burnt out by the end. I got burnt out as well! Making sure she was at the practices and never ending talks about how it's important to try your best even if you don't make any goals. She is definitely ready to move up to the next age group. She turned four in the middle of the season and had a one year old on her team! (the little girl was like 20 months, but technically that is still one!) She was as small as Zara. I think we will take a break from soccer for a bit a try a tumbling class. We are trying to figure out what she enjoys the most...we have a few more things to try. Overall, soccer was a great experience for her and she still had a lot of fun. She admits that her favorite part was eating all the junk food at the end of the game. We ended up not even going to her last game because the two games prior she pretty much just stood out in the field and watched the ball go by. She knew that I wouldn't allow her the treats unless she played, so she did the bare minimum! She was only allowed to eat part of the treats b/c her effort was only partly there. Still can't quite figure out why she loved it so much at the beginning, but was over it by the end....either way, she had fun at her little party and got a cute trophy. Yes, they added an "s" to her name. But I expected the spelling mistake to be much worse :) Zara loved playing with all the soccer balls and can't wait for her turn to play!
