St. Patrick's Day

I never really know how to celebrate this holiday, but I do know it was always fun to eat green food when we were little. So I decided to carry on the tradition this year. Kitana LOVED it! (especially the green poop part...crazy girl!) She had green eggs, green yogurt and green milk. And continued to request green milk throughout the rest of the day :)

Also wanted to add this picture. She has always been very into reading her books, we started at a young age :) Lately, she gets out every book she owns and will read each one individually (or try to). Once she gets into one of these moods, I get a good 1/2-1 hour of me time...it's great!!

Meet Trixie

We got a new puppy! Her name is Trixie...she is half pug & half boston terrier, aka a bug. She is the cutest thing. Kitana loves her and just wants to hold her all the time, they already have so much fun together :)

Kitana Update

 Kitana's had a couple major changes in her life. She recently upgraded to her very own big girl bed! She got a whole new bedroom set complete w/ dresser and armoire. She loves it. She still somehow managed to fall out of it one night w/ the safety rail in place. She feel out of the foot part of the bed, other than that it has been a success :)

She started dance class last month. She is so lucky to have to have her aunt Jessica teaching it as well as both of her little cousins in the same class. She loves it for about 1/2 hour and then we have issues. I think she may be a bit too young, but it is sooo cute! And we just couldn't pass up the opportunity to have her very own aunt teach her :)

I've been missing my blog!!

I've been so bad at this, obviously! But I'm going to try to keep up on it...I'm limiting my posts to 3 pictures a piece so I don't overwhelm myself. I always feel like I have to put every detail on here and the pictures just take so long to load! So, we recently had a baby shower for Jordyn, she came down from Utah for a weekend and we jumped on the opportunity to throw her one before her baby arrives in April. Here is a picture of us w/ our bumps :)

 Yes, I still seem to be showing a bit more than Jordyn. She is 7 weeks ahead of me.

This is what Paul decided to paint on the wall of the new baby's room. I LOVE it! And for anyone that doesn't know, we are having another little girl :) Paul painted on Kitana's wall too and secretly added her name in it. The last picture is our new baby's name!!

 

 Last bit of bummer information. I found out recently that I have gestational diabetes again :( Not so fun for me, but at least I know how to control it and know that I'll end up w/ a healthy baby as long as I keep it under control :)
