Pumpkin Patch.Halloween

We've gone to this same pumpkin patch every year since we got married. We've had fun keeping with our tradition and this is Kitana's third time coming and she loves it! I was of course pregnant and not feeling good, so it was a struggle to make it this year. But Paul was a trooper and got Kitana ready and helped get us out the door and there just in time before they closed for the evening. Which explains her crazy/cute outfit :)

She had soooo much fun. She put her arms out like this and just ran the whole time. She loved it!

This is our traditional picture..I have this same one from every year.

Kitana had two costumes this year. She couldn't pick between the two. So she was a fairy for our ward Halloween party.

And a little Indian girl for trick or treating. My parents got these for Kitana and Devi from India !

We met up with some friends to go trick or treating. It was her first year and she had a blast! Everyone thought she was so cute.
Paul cut his thumb at work and had stitches just in time for Halloween..he thought he was pretty cool!

Family pictures...Kitana's 2 year pictures

We decided it works out well to get our family pictures taken every year around Kitana's birthday. That it doubles as family pictures and Kitana's year mark pictures. We also get to use the pictures for our Christmas card. I was newly pregnant in these pictures (about 8 weeks) and was not feeling well! We used the same photographer as we used last year and were super happy with them. We plan on her being our annual family photographer :)

I feel like I got a little carried away trying to decide which to post...but I just loved so many!

Baby news!

We decided in the middle of August that we were ready to start trying for another baby. Well, at the end of September we found out that I was pregnant! It pretty much happens instantly for us. We found out about a week after Kitana's birthday party. I remember getting ready for her party and moving around some heavy tables and chairs and was thinking "Maybe I shouldn't be doing this, what if I'm pregnant." I quickly dismissed it and thought it would be crazy for it to happen that quickly. But I was wrong! We announced to our families soon after with a fun video that we spent an evening making together.

Almost forgot!

I always like to put together a little slide show of the last year of her life. I hope she likes them, because I plan to continue on with it!

Party time!!

I know these posts are on the heavy side of Kitana's birthday, but it really was an entire week long celebration. So here are the pictures from her actual party, which was this past Saturday. She had the time of her life and got spoiled once again w/ gifts :)

Cookies and milk Station..Kitana's favorites! She also chose to have pizza at her party.

Testing out the bouncehouse before the guests arrived.

They had so much fun, seriously the best idea ever! Thanks for lending it to us Brooke & Chris!

 Cookie decorating craft

Crazy to think that last year at Kitana's party they were just barely dating!

So glad you were here Auntie V!!!

 Yay! A family picture :)

She has the hardest time blowing hard enough to get the flame out, thankfully it was a bit windy!

 Love this picture!

 The siblings.

We just need to figure out how to get Devi to like Uncle Ty too!

I learned that having a birthday party on a Friday night is a bad idea for those that have to travel from down the hill. I know it was a LONG drive for a lot of people...sorry everyone! But so happy that you still came and were able to celebrate Kitana's 2nd birthday w/ us :)
