We decided every year for Christmas we are going to switch off having Christmas Eve with one of the families and then Christmas day with the other. We did Christmas Eve last year with the Koontz family, so it was a Winters Christmas Eve this year. My mom had the entire day planned out to the minute! We all had so much fun...the little girls were kept so busy they didn't even have a chance to do their usual squealing and running around :) My mom also made YUMMY food...we all went home with full bellies.
We started by opening presents. Here are the highlights. Rya loved her hooded towel!

The girls got princess crowns from Brynn, they were in heaven!
Donovan made this giant jewelry frame for Jessica...turned out great!
Also, I realized I take too many candid pictures which don't always make every look their best...I'll work on taking better pictures of everyone at the next family event!
My mom put together this whole christmas "minute to win it" game. We had a blast! Jessica and I had to shake our booties to get the bells out of a tissue box!

Boys calling a truce on their nerf gun war! My mom had them open these presents last as a surprise. They had a race to see who could open theirs the fastest and the wars began!! Chris got one too, but decided not to battle...my dad was sad he didn't get one :(

We also had a little talent show. Kitana sang "Santa Claus is coming to town" and "Away in a Manger." Then she got out her guitar and sang and danced a bit :)
I played a Christmas song...Zara was a bit grumpy after a long day, but the bjorn always calms her down! Paul showed a DVD of a bunch of his art work for his talent.

We then came home a got out milk and cookies for Santa. Kitana got hello kitty pj's from grammy...Devi and Rya got matching ones. Missed out on the picture though b/c it was getting late :(
She wanted to make sure Santa had milk and water...so cute!
