We started off the day with Christmas morning at our house. It was so fun to have a kid old enough to be excited Christmas morning and to understand the whole Santa thing. She was beyond excited! She opened her big Santa gift first. We loved seeing her so happy! And I promise, this is the last Christmas post :)
Thankfully Kitana and Zara actually woke up at the same time Christmas morning and were able to enjoy it together. Kitana made sure Zara had the help she needed opening her stocking presents before she even opened her own. It was soooo sweet :)
Zara's first Christmas was a success! She thoroughly loved all the wrapping paper.
I just love these two!
These snug socks were one of her favorite things in her stocking...who would have thought!
Here's a shot of the matching pj's my mom got all the older girls.
Zara was happy to have her own fruit to chew on, she usually just has to bum off of her sister.
Her big gift from Santa was her own special blankie, just like Kitana has. She isn't quite attached to it yet, but we'll see.
She did great! It also helped to have a good teacher :) She fell pretty much instantly, but got herself up right away and tried again. She's such a tough little girl.
Little people Princess castle from Grandma...Instant love!
Lakers won on Christmas day...such a nice Christmas present, especially considering how they've been playing lately :(
Grandma also picked another winner for Zara...she is obsessed w/ this thing!! (The baby is from my mom...I let Kitana and Zara pick one present to bring over on Christmas. Kitana picked her bike and Zara picked the baby.)
The teapot Paul made for his mom, with matching cups.
Paul turned into a little kid on Christmas and was so excited to go over to his parents. He got Kitana ready, which explains why she wore half pajamas and half clothes the whole day...at least she was comfy!
Playing with her princess book from Livia :)
We had such a fun and memorable Christmas. It's great to have all our family near. We were excited to finally figure out a way to split the time that worked for all of us. Can't wait for next year....Kitana is already counting down!
