Somehow I jumped the gun and posted about Zara's blessing before the 4th of July. It's a little out of order, but as least it's here :) Our friends from our ward invited us over for a BBQ, Kitana loved their waterslide and wasn't even scared...can't believe my little girl is growing up! Then we went to the local park for fireworks. We had a blast!

Zara did great and enjoyed laying in the wagon and listening to all the people...I covered her little ears for the fireworks.
This was Kitana's first experience with fireworks. She was sooo excited, but the loud noise made her a little uneasy. Thankfully Paul thought to bring these headphones that blocked out the noise...what a good daddy :)
Kitana's little friend...they had tons of fun the whole day together. We had such a fun time and can't wait to do it again next year. Kitana now loves fireworks and asks all the time to see more!
